Benzema missing with injury

 

Karim Benzema and Fabio Coentrao were missing from the Real Madrid squad to face Málaga this afternoon as they had not recovered from their ailments, but it is hoped that they will both be fit to play against Juventus on Wednesday.

Benzema failed a fitness test, having not recovered sufficiently from an injury to his calf muscle, while Coentrao spent the night in hospital because of a wisdom tooth issue.
