Man United and Chelsea target Sami Khedira slammed by Spanish media

Manchester United and Chelsea target Sami Khedira looks all the more likely to leave Real Madrid in January after the Spanish press lambasted him for his comments about the club.
Real currently sit third in La Liga, five points behind their two main rivals Barcelona and Atletico Madrid and Khedira criticised his side’s performances whilst on international duty with Germany.
He told reporters: "We aren't playing well. We may have had some good moments, but for large parts of games we have been playing in a complicated way, we have been too individual.
"I don't know if it's just a question of time, or something else, but we still haven't found ourselves as a team."
The 26-year-old also took a dig at the Spanish press claiming they have not given him a fair ride since he joined the club in the summer of 2010 due to his nationality and allegiance to former Real boss Jose Mourinho.
"I feel insulted by the Spanish press, I will never be one of their favourite sons," the player told German magazine kicker.
"I began the season on the bench and once again I've been made a scapegoat. They don't value me, even when I play well.
"I'm not Spanish, I didn't cost a lot and I'm a disciple of Mourinho."
The Spanish media has now hit back at the German with various publications laying into the 26-year-old after he expressed his views.
Accoring to Marca: “Khedira mistreats the football, he cannot even play a simple pass. He has courgettes for feet.”
AS claimed that “Khedira is a donkey and takes his job too seriously. He does not realise he is playing more games than he deserves.”
A Spanish radio station asked the question: “Do your eyes not hurt when Khedira is on the ball?”
Madrid are reportedly ready to let the midfielder leave the club in January and the German is clearly not having the best time in the Spanish capital.
Manchester United are now on high alert to his situation at Real and manager David Moyes could make another bid for the German in January after seeing a £34 million offer for his signature turned down on the final day of the summer transfer window.
It is also understood Khedira would be interested in teaming up with former coach Mourinho at Chelsea while Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is thought to be keen on pairing the 26-year-old with compatriot Mesut Ozil at the Emirates Stadium.
