Sergi Darder believes that Malaga will have their chances to upset Real Madrid in this weekend’s coming fixture.
The Costa del Sol outfit head north to the capital for Week 9’s test at the Santiago Bernabeu, but with at least one of their number confident of a result.
This is also in spite of the team’s surprise 1-0 reverse at home to Osasuna in Week 8.
“We’ve put the Osasuna match behind us now, rectified our mistakes and are completely focused on Madrid,” Darder had determined this week.
“We’ve had some players away on international duty, but so have Real Madrid. It’s crucial that we make the most out of every opportunity we have.
“Real Madrid have some top quality players, but if we focus on our style of play and ensure we maintain a solid defence, then I believe we’ll have chances.
“The Bernabeu is such an exciting stadium, but at the end of the day it’s just another match for us which we’re determined to win.”
