David Silva has shrugged off reports of renewed interest from Real Madrid and pledged his allegiance to Manchester City.
The Spain international, who has been speaking to Mundo Deportivo while on World Cup qualifying duty, only signed a new five-year contract at City in September 2012.
He intends to honour that agreement and claims he would not have signed if he was not happy in England.
The 27-year-old has been forced to clear up issues regarding his future in the wake of speculation suggesting he could soon be heading home.
Real, who are known to be long-time admirers of Silva, are said to have made the World Cup winner a top target ahead of another lavish spending spree next summer.
Silva, though, insists there is no substance to the rumours and that he is going nowhere.
He told Mundo Deportivo: "I'm very happy in Manchester and I think this is similar to what happens every year.
"There are always rumours and, in the end, the player has to be calm. I renewed my contract because I am happy over there (in Manchester)."
