Bale

Gareth Bale made his comeback after three weeks out injured and was given the playing time promised to him by Carlo Ancelotti, coming on in the 75th minute in place of Álvaro Morata. The Welshman had been warming up since the first half and lined up on the wing, as did Di María, with Cristiano left as the lone frontman.
Bale showed glimpses of his talent and he forced the penalty which led to Real's second (2-0), when match official Ayza Gámez pointed to the spot for Weligton's non-existent foul on the Welshman. As former international referee Andújar Oliver noted, the Welshman lost his balance but was not impeded, meaning no penalty should have been given.
Ancelotti now plans to give Bale some playing time against Juventus to see if he is fit and ready to start against Barcelona in next weekend's 'Clásico' at the Camp Nou.
