Bale a safe bet

Real Madrid is covered for any potential injury to Gareth Bale and the club would receive compensation of €91 million – the amount, although not official, that 'Los Blancos' splashed out on signing the player.
'El Confidencial' claimed that the move was something normal by Florentino Pérez and co, and the club has paid around €4.5 million for the season in order to avoid any type of setbacks.
The insurance only covers medium and long term injuries. The last case when it was used was for Marcelo's knee injury he sustained with the Brazilian national team.
