Former Barcelona player Eric Abidal, who currently plays for Monaco, defended his fellow countryman Karim Benzema, in light of the doubts which are surrounding him at Real Madrid.
"I'm sure Karim will get through this rough patch, but I don't think benching him is the solution," he said on 'BeIN Sport'.
Nevertheless, the full-back praised Morata: "He doesn't have Benzema's experience, but he's young, enthusiastic and has more than enough talent to start for Madrid. He is good competition for Karim," he
