France were untroubled as they defeated Australia at the Parc des Princes in Paris. Varane played from the start in this friendly, which the French had killed off by half time, as they went in 4-0 up. After the break, Benzema replaced Giroud in attack and it only took him a few minutes to beat the Australian goalkeeper. The goal from the Real Madrid player was the final goal of the game. The next game for Benzema and Varane will be on Tuesday, in the World Cup qualifying match against Finland.
