Ronaldo is always Real Madrid's lucky charm, but even more so in the Spanish league.

Real's lucky charm
Real Madrid can breathe easy once Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in a la Liga match. With good reason given that, since the Portuguese player made his 'Los Blancos' debut against Deportivo on 29th August 2009, Real has never lost a game when he has found the back of the net. And it has been five seasons now.
Ronaldo is always Real Madrid's lucky charm, but even more so in the Spanish league. No team can boast of having beaten 'Los Blancos' when the Portuguese player has scored. In the 90 games he has got one past the goalkeeper, the balance stands at 84 wins and six draws. Barça and Villarreal, – each twice - Espanyol and Zaragoza are the only ones not to have lost when the Madrid star has struck.
What began as an anecdote has become an incredible statistic. In Levante, the legend of Real Madrid's Ronaldo-fuelled unbeaten record was further strengthened. This season he has scored in five games, with a total of four wins and a draw - at the El Madrigal stadium.
When he started in la Liga, Ronaldo amassed 31 consecutive victories for the games he scored in. It was not until 16th April 2011 when Real Madrid failed to win for the first time after the Portuguese player had scored. The tie was against Barcelona at the Bernabéu. CR7 scored, but the Clasico ended in a draw.
