Varane

Real Madrid trained on Sunday with the Champions League balls ahead of the side's game against Juventus on Wednesday, with the inclusion of Raphaël Varane in the session.

Nine of the ten players who started in Madrid's victory over Málaga trained at a lower intensity, while Ramos, Benzema and Diego López worked out indoors. Xabi Alonso, who trained alone on the adjacent pitch, continues his recovery-training.

Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti divided the players at the session into three groups. The first group comprised nine of the ten players who began Saturday's match. Carvajal, Pepe, Marcelo, Illarra, Khedira, Isco, Di María, Cristiano Ronaldo and Morata all trained at a lower intensity than the rest of the squad.

The second group comprised the remaining out-field players who trained on the grass, including Varane. After the initial stretching and muscle strengthening exercises, the players worked with the Champions League ball.

Casillas, Jesús and Tomás Mejías worked with goal-keeping coach William Vecchi.
The atmosphere in the session was very relaxed after the side's win on Saturday against Málaga.
