Real is favourite, says Vialli

We have to journey back to 1996 to the last time that Juventus lifted the Champions League title, the second in its history. Gianluca Vialli played in that team and he now takes a look at the upcoming game between two of his very good friends: Conte and Ancelotti. "Hopefully they win a game each," he said regarding who he wants to win the tie.

"Juve is a perfectly integrated side. Regarding Real Madrid, maybe Ancelotti still hopes that the squad can play to the best of its ability. I don't think he's far off getting the team firing on all cylinders. Despite this, I think they're favourites," said Vialli.

On the subject of Llorente, he said, "It took Zidane six months to settle in at Juve. Llorente's situation is perfectly normal. Conte is right, the player still needs to find some physical fitness. I believe in him, he brings something different, tremendous aerial strength. However, he must be patient. I'm sure that the coach has faith in Fernando."

"Juventus knows that it faces a star-studded line-up. We're talking about young talents like Isco, who I think is great, as well as Bale or Cristiano Ronaldo, who Carlo Ancelotti speaks wonders of. It's hard to find a player in that squad who I don't admire," said Vialli.

Gianluca knows Ancelotti well: "He's a well-balanced person, calm, laid back, who isn’t afraid of anything. Real Madrid is complicated, but he's already worked for Berlusconi and Abramovich, amongst others."
