Against Málaga, Diego López registered his first clean sheet at the Santiago Bernabéu since 17th February against Rayo.
Some eleven league games had been and gone since that date, with Diego López starting 10 of them (Jesús Fernández featured in the final 'Liga' game of last season, against Osasuna) and failing to keep a shutout in any.
The former Villarreal and Sevilla shotstopper didn't have much to do against Málaga, but dealt with everything he had to with minimum fuss.
